I paid $200 for a hairstyle and left feeling a whole lot uglier than when I arrived. First off it was very hard to find as it is located inside of a large office builing and there are no signs whatsoever to help you find the right door. There are no annemities like most spas. You just go straight into your appointment. Not always a bad thing. It was quite and kind of relaxing for the most part. My stylist did a great job coloring my hair. When she washed my hair out, however, she scrubbed so hard there were tears in my eyes and she didn't even seem to notice the tears or the look of pain/discomfort on my face as would most stylists. I paid a lot extra to have my hair blown out and styled. I told her to make sure she used a round brush and fluffed it otherwise it would fall flat. She said ok and continued to pull my hair straight and flat. She then added some gunk to my hair that made it look very greasy. I have very shiny hair and do not need any extra goop!!! It was the absolute worst hairstyle I have ever had! The cut was only so-so. I left $200 poorer and felt terrible. I ended up pulling my hair into a ponytail before I would even go into the fastfood place for lunch (that bad) and wore my sunglassses so nobody would recognize me. You should always leave a spa feeling beautiful and relaxed. Thats why I pay the big $$$ at a spa instead of going to super-cuts!
